India vs England 5th T20 match Palying 11

As you all know I am playing for India Legends

in the Road Safety World Series at Raipur

Last game was an amazing win against South Africa Legends

A good game for me too...

A nice 95 run partnership along with my childhood idol, Sachin Tendulkar

It was great to be on the field 

From the batting to the fielding

A big crowd and a lot of support 

The adrenaline rush was great!

A lot of you had wished me

Thanks a lot!

But an unfortunate injury

A hamstring injury, so I am on rest for now

But let's see how it progresses

It is likely for me to play if I am fit before the next match

I am not sure

Let's wait and watch

An exceptional victory for the Indian team

What were the reasons behind this victory?

What all should England probably address in the next game?

There were two changes in the Indian side 

Debut for two youngsters

Ishan Kishan and Suryakumar Yadav

Because of their consistent performances in IPL and domestic cricket

They got an opportunity to debut

Ishan Kishan performed exceptionally well

A half century on debut

In fact he is the second Indian batsman after Ajinkya Rahane

to score a half century on his T20 International debut

He is definitely talented

But everyone playing for team India is talented

But it is his clarity of mind..

When in crucial situations, you need to pick the right balls

He executes it exceptionally well

Even in the IPL for Mumbai Indians or even this knock for Team India

So I love this character of Ishan Kishan so much

Calm and composed and undoubtedly talented

Talking of the amazing victory in the 2nd T20 International

It is a must to talk of the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli

He played very well in this match

He won the toss and then beautifully captained the team

And batting, played exceptionally well

He scored a half century and stayed not out till the end to seal the victory

Virat Kohli is definitely back to form 

But I would still say this knock is not his best

For his high standards, he can still do better

However, he played a great knock and is back to form

This is a little dangerous sign for England

If you look at the pitch of the Narendra Modi

Stadium in Ahmedabad where the 2nd T20 was played

In the first match there was a nice bit of grass tinge

And hence there was a lot of pace and bounce

The England fast bowlers exploited that really well

Especially Mark Wood and Jofra Archer

But in the 2nd T20 International...

There wasn't much grass cover

It was a little easy paced wicket

Slightly slower

This turned a lot favourable to team India

This is an important factor

So the pitch of the 3rd T20 International is going to be a talking point

In the England team there was one change 

Tom Curran played in place of Mark Wood

Mark Wood bowled exceptionally well in 1st T20 International

He troubled the Indian batsmen with good pace and bounce, bowling at hard lengths

But in the second match...

England dearly missed him

Tom Curran didn't exploit pace and bounce like Mark Wood

And the wicket was also pretty flat

So if the 3rd T20 pitch has grass and bounce

It will be favorable for the England team

Mark Wood will be back

We missed him dearly said the England skipper Eoin Morgan in post match conference

What could England do to beat India?

India is only playing 5 bowlers

5 bowlers inclusive of Washington Sundar and Hardik Pandya

Apart from them, Chahal, Thakur and Bhuvaneshwar Kumar

This is the Indian attack

So if England has to beat India

They will definitely have to go after this bowling attack

By putting a lot of runs on board

India is playing extra batsmen

Also bowlers Hardik Pandya and Washington Sundar does batting too

And don't forget Shardul Thakur

He can bat too...

So Indian has a long batting line up

But the weak link is bowling...

So the English batsmen shouldn't allow bowlers like Pandya and Sundar complete their spell

We will have to wait and watch to see if this strategy 

will be adopted in the 3rd T20 International

Indian skipper Virat Kohli had told before that

Rohit Sharma will be rested for the first two T20s

So there is a definite chance for

Rohit Sharma to play in the 3rd T20
